Title: Tool Makers

JOB SUMMARY
• Working from sketches, drawings and verbal instructions from supervisor, responsible for constructing, altering, or   repairing a wide variety of standard and non-standard developmental and experimental tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and   gauges to close tolerances.
• Qualified candidates will have 5 years experienced in setting up and operating lathes, honing machines, surface   grinders, hydraulic presses and other tool room machinery.
• Knowledge of aerospace fastener tooling required including cutting, reaming, lapping, polishing carbide and installing   carbide die inserts into die cases is required for this position.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Tasks include ability to read blueprints and competency in product and finish die measurement of aerospace fastener   parts.
